Quite a disappointing experience at Fonda. Bland food that’s not worth the high price. The guacamole was just mashed avocado and the nachos tasted stale. The service was ok, the staff were polite when they brought the food out. Overall there was little interaction with staff because food and drinks ordered via an app. The app is convenient though. Not recommended for authentic Mexican cuisine. I’d suggest exploring other options for better value and taste.

Worst Mexican I’ve ever had. Flavours are bland and portion sizes are appalling for the price. All our meals were dry and overcooked and the ingredients didn’t seem fresh at all. Paid for extra cheese on our Quesadillas and as per the picture we aren’t sure if there is any cheese on it at all as it is so dried out. The tiny amount of filing was ridiculous. All the meals we tried were all disgusting and went straight in the bin. Such a waste of $70 for two. Avoid.

You’ve got to try this place! Great vibe, delicious food! We ordered the sweet potato tacos and sweet potato burrito. Both are filled with sweet potato gems, caramelized onion, and capsicum sauce. The trio is dynamite in your mouth - an awesome explosion of fantastic flavors!! The key difference between the two? The taco has crisp cabbage while the burrito has spinach, crunchy corn chips, rice and black beans. I loved the tacos and my husband loved the burrito. You can’t go wrong either way. Oh, and the horchata is divine. Liquid rice pudding. Yum!!! (This is not authentic Mexican, but Fonda doesn’t pretend to be. We came for the flavor and are bit disappointed- it’s absolutely delicious!!)

DON’T MISS OUT! Fonda is amazing! We had the Sweet Potato Taco and Sweet Potato Burrito and were blown away with the flavor. I personally liked the burrito more but my wife liked the taco. Loved the crunch in the burrito. Service is incredibly fast and friendly. Overall nice vibe inside.

Lovely little restaurant. We had a group of 11 there last night for dinner. Food was delicious, portions generous. I especially enjoyed the loaded nachos and Tommy's Margarita. Staff are friendly and accommodating, service prompt.

Very friendly staff and super quick service. Delicious tacos at an affordable price. Great sized nachos which you can choose toppings you like! Overall a great find in Sydney!!

Nice Mexican restaurant with fresh ingredients and fast service. We ordered using the QR code on the table but you can also order at the counter. I found the dishes pretty small for the price point but still tasty.

I would not call this Mexican food. I’m an American visiting, so not a local perspective. But if you want anywhere near decent Mexican food, this is not the place. They don’t even offer rice and beans. But they serve sweet potato fries! Ha. Also, order at the table on the phone, food is brought out when it’s ready and that’s that. No one asked me if I needed anything, how the food was, nothing. You get a chipotle (fast casual restaurant) type of service-none.
